
The Story
Lowri is a writer, actor, dramaturg and stylist.
She has worked in theatre and performance for over 20 years, with RSC, Sherman Theatre, The Place, BBC, Channel 4, The Other Room and National Theatre Wales.
She studied at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and has a Masters from RADA/Kings College London.
She has trained extensively with Anne Bogart’s SITI Company.
In 2015, Lowri co-founded Nova Theatre with Jennifer Fletcher. The company makes female led work rooted in Wales, with a universal outlook. Their latest work, Shirley, has been developed with Other Room Theatre, CPT and had a two-week run at Sherman Theatre Studio in its developing form.
Lowri is now developing Shirley with NOVA for a full-length theatrical incarnation.
As writer-performer Lowri has created shows such as Hamlet is a Fuckboi, Winners (Sherman Theatre/Nova) and Invisible City (Nova), touring internationally.
She is a passionate access and inclusion advocate and has worked with Disability Arts Online, Access All Areas and Oily Cart.
Current projects include Dramaturg on Enter The Dragon's Cave, an immersive sensory performance for young people with PMLD, created by Jo-Anne Cox.
